Vegas and Disneyland

After spending Thanksgiving with my family in Utah, we set off for Las Vegas. A pit stop to get a good night sleep before we made it to our next destination... Disneyland. Jeff and I had never been to Vegas before, so it was definitely eye opening. We stayed at the MGM Grand and the photo above is the view from our room. After having dinner at the Rainforest Cafe we ventured out onto the strip. We visited the New York New York hotel, M&M World and a few other shops before we turned in for the night.

The next morning we leisurely got ready and then packed the car for Anaheim. Little did we know that we would be traveling on the highway along with a million other people. Our 4 hour drive turned to 8. YUCK! The kids surprisingly did well in the car. Probably the best they have ever done for the amount of time we were stuck on the road.
When we arrived at the hotel, Jeff's mom was waiting patiently for us. We unpacked the car and immediately walked to Disneyland for some fun.
Disneyland is so pretty at Christmas time. Everything is decorated and there are lights everywhere. Here we all are in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle.
It's a Small World is always amazing at Christmas... inside and out.
The kids love most all the rides at Disneyland and California Adventure, but Splash Mountain and Tower of Terror are favorites.

Here is Sean on King Triton's Carrousel and Morgan with Mulan. Morgan got her face painted this day to celebrate her upcoming birthday. She chose a unicorn mask. It was very pretty.
We had a fantastic time together and were full of Christmas spirit. The lines were short, the food was great and the lights, fireworks and snow were awesome. If you haven't been to Disneyland during the holidays... I strongly recommend it.
